The Haiku and You

drip, drop,seasons change
summer gives way to the fall
welcoming grey skies

our road is so long
The seasons will come and go
we wait for sunrise

The cicada waits
The sun rises and it sets
the moment of now

Softly

I close my eyes to the world
dreamingly i find sleep
in your arms i wake
to gentle kisses
and your heart.

Just Getting By

I wish life were black and white...sometimes I do...
each choice the right one, justice for the deserving

But then who decides the deserving? God?

Sometimes i wonder who's footsteps I follow?

is the hardship I face a test of endurance, is this the test
to find out if I am one of the deserving?

Why would god set me upon this path? Have I not shown him I can endure?

I have questions my lord and they need answers
